PRIMED NETWORK / OPTIONAL AI INTEGRATION

Bring Your
Own AI.

Ask better questions of your Wi-Fi survey. Connect an MCP-compatible assistant to the measurements and findings you already have.

KNOW WHAT YOU SHARE

A local connection.
Your choice of assistant.

AI is entirely optional

Primed Network analyses and visualises your Wi-Fi without an AI service. Its MCP helper runs on your Mac and reads surveys from its configured survey directory.

Your assistant may use the cloud

If you connect a cloud AI service, survey data returned to that assistant may be sent to its provider. That provider’s privacy policy and account settings govern processing and retention. A local connection does not mean all AI processing stays on your Mac.

Survey access has a defined boundary

The helper confines survey reads to its configured directory. It also lets the assistant save analyses alongside a survey, without overwriting earlier analyses. This boundary applies to the Primed Network helper, not to other tools your assistant may have.

FROM MEASUREMENTS TO QUESTIONS

What Your AI Can Do

These tools give your assistant evidence from saved surveys. Results depend on the measurements and calibration available.

  • Diagnostics

    diagnose_wifi

Analyse weak signals, dead zones, congestion and security issues.

  • Executive Summary

    summarise_survey

High-level overview with coverage scores, AP count and top findings.

  • AP Mapping

    list_access_points

Extract BSSIDs, signal averages, frequencies and vendor names.

  • Heatmap Analytics

    get_heatmap_metrics

Inspect RSSI, SNR, noise, data rates, throughput and latency grids.

  • Spectrum Congestion

    get_channel_congestion

Active neighbours on your channel with clearer channel recommendations.

  • What-If Planning

    suggest_ap_placement

Evaluate predicted coverage from access points and walls placed in a calibrated survey.

  • Before & After Diffs

    compare_surveys

Compare two surveys to see how changes improved coverage.

  • Save to Document

    record_analysis

Save an analysis alongside the survey for review in the app. Earlier analyses are kept.

Try asking your AI assistant

  • Summarise my home Wi-Fi survey.
  • Where are the worst dead zones, and what obstacles are causing them?
  • Should I change the channel on my 2.4 GHz band to avoid congestion?
  • Compare the before and after surveys — did that mesh node help?

SETUP / CLAUDE DESKTOP

Get Started in Minutes

The helper is included with Primed Network. The app guides you through connecting it to Claude Desktop.

Connect from the app

  1. Open Primed Network on your Mac.
  2. Select File > Connect to Claude Desktop... from the menu bar.
  3. Follow the guided prompt to complete the connection.
  4. Restart Claude Desktop — tool icons appear in your chat.

App Store version: the app presents a standard macOS file picker. Grant access to ~/Library/Application Support/Claude once so Primed Network can configure the connection. It remembers that permission for the next connection.

For other MCP-compatible assistants, connection options depend on the client and your plan. The guided setup above is for Claude Desktop.

A STARTING POINT

Wi-Fi Engineer
System Prompt

Copy this short starter into your assistant. For the fuller prompt pack that matches your installed app, use Help › Copy Claude Prompt Pack.

You are a professional Wi-Fi site survey and installation engineer.
1. Call diagnose_wifi first - cite specific evidence, not assumptions.
2. Refer to APs by alias, falling back to SSID and BSSID.
3. For 2.4 GHz, consider non-overlapping channels 1/6/11 and the saved scan. Check the network setup before recommending manual changes.
4. Run suggest_ap_placement simulations for coverage gaps.
5. Present health score, ranked issues with evidence, and vendor-neutral steps.
