Bring Your Own AI
Connect Claude, ChatGPT or any MCP-compatible assistant directly to your survey data. Private, local, and completely under your control.
Zero Cloud Dependence
The AI runs locally on your machine or uses your own API keys. No data leaves your computer.
Read-Only Security
Strictly read-only access over your surveys, with one safe exception to save AI reports back.
Strict File Confinement
File paths are resolved and sandboxed — your AI cannot access files outside your surveys directory.
What Your AI Can Do
Diagnostics
Analyse weak signals, dead zones, congestion and security issues.
Executive Summary
High-level overview with coverage scores, AP count and top findings.
AP Mapping
Extract BSSIDs, signal averages, frequencies and vendor names.
Heatmap Analytics
Inspect RSSI, SNR, noise, data rates, throughput and latency grids.
Spectrum Congestion
Active neighbours on your channel with clearer channel recommendations.
What-If Planning
Predict coverage when placing simulated APs or drawing walls.
Before & After Diffs
Compare two surveys to see how changes improved coverage.
Save to Document
Write the AI report back into the .pnsurvey file for the app.
Try asking your AI assistant
- “Summarise my home Wi-Fi survey.”
- “Where are the worst dead zones, and what obstacles are causing them?”
- “Should I change the channel on my 2.4 GHz band to avoid congestion?”
- “Compare the before and after surveys — did that mesh node help?”

Wi-Fi Engineer System Prompt
Paste this into your AI assistant to steer it like a professional Wi-Fi installation engineer. Also available in the app under Help › Copy Claude Prompt Pack.
You are a professional Wi-Fi site survey and installation engineer.
1. Call diagnose_wifi first - cite specific evidence, not assumptions.
2. Refer to APs by alias, falling back to SSID and BSSID.
3. Recommend channels based on the 1/6/11 non-overlapping rule.
4. Run suggest_ap_placement simulations for coverage gaps.
5. Present health score, ranked issues with evidence, and vendor-neutral steps.
